Professional Development Workshop Communications and Marketing for Rural Hospitals
The Texas A&M Rural and Community Health Institute is teaming up with Groundswell Health to offer a one-of-a-kind training workshop for rural healthcare leaders and their communication teams.
Join us in Austin Feb. 24 for a one-day seminar exploring communications tactics and practices that stick with local communities, and come away with resources and tools to increase effectiveness and make an impact. The workshop explores best practices and outlines Groundswell Health’s unique model designed to reach more local audiences and make messages stick.
This is no ordinary training retreat. No fine print. No add-on purchase requests. You can expect healthcare-specific communications and marketing training from a team with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare communications and public affairs.
Building the components of a good story isn’t enough. Build a system that helps your message resonate.
This workshop is supported by the Texas A&M Rural and Community Health Institute as a cost-effective way for rural and small hospitals to affect long-term profitability. Decrease outmigration and heighten the local healthcare brand through new practices that:
- Promote services in ways the appeal to patients while balancing priorities among internal stakeholder and subject matter experts;
- Clarify complex information and dispel myths among core target populations; and
- Positively enhance the hospital reputation with audiences who matter most.
